Events at the News of the World are beginning to resemble a Hollywood Feature film. In September 2010, The Guardian revealed that, as part of the cross-party media committee investigating News of the World‘s phone-hacking, Rebekah Brooks repeatedly chose not to attend to give evidence; resulting in four members of the committee “considering asking the serjeant at arms to issue a warrant forcing Brooks to attend”; however they subsequently dropped this proposal because it was alleged their private lives would be investigated if they did so.
Now ex N.o.W editor Andy Coulson, the Prime Minister’s former director of communications has just been arrested. The newspaper shuts down. Think “State of Play”
So who will play Rebekah Brooks?
