Lighting a corridor.

Lighting a corridor is particularly difficult as there is nowhere obvious to put light stands or cables. If you are lucky there might be a picture rail or ledge that you can clamp a light to. But generally there isn’t anything.

You need to be able to have lights coming from behind the actors, so one work around is to disguise the light stand with a coat or curtain.

however you still have the problem of the cables.

so I generally use seversl lighting autopoles, clamped across the ceiling some to hang lights from, others to support the cables.
